Mishelle posted an article a while ago about watermarking photos using Photoshop.  Here’s another option, for those people who don’t have Photoshop or any other photo-editing software – a free online watermarking tool.

It’s called Picmarkr, and it will allow you to upload photos from your computer or you can link to existing photos on Flickr.  It allows you to add watermarks onto your photos – for FREE.

It’s a fabulous tool, which allows the user to add the following types of watermarks:

• Text watermark – you can choose between different fonts and a few different layouts of text watermarks, and it also allows you to place the watermark in different corners of the photo.



• Image watermark – the tool allows you to upload a image file containing a logo, for example, and it’ll place it on top of your photo.
• Tiled watermark - you can either tile a text message or a image of your choice all over the photo.

Once you’re done, the photos can either the loaded back into your Flickr site, or you can download them onto your PC.

It was such an easy site to use, and I was quite pleased with the results.
