“Do you want to build a snowman?” Something tells me you’ve heard that movie line approximately 85,457 times in the last few months. If you have children, especially little girls, you’ve had the song Let it Go on repeat for weeks. You can quote Olaf’s famous line, “Hi. I’m Olaf and I like warm hugs.” Why? Because Disney’s Frozen is the HOTTEST movie for kids of all ages right now! As a matter of fact, Frozen took home the Oscar for Best Animated Feature Film.
Frozen will be released on Blu-Ray and DVD on March 18. Why not host a viewing party and invite a bunch of friends over to enjoy it with you? Food, friends, family, fun AND Frozen!! Today I’ve gathered a bunch of great ideas to help spark your imagination for the best party ever.
/1/ Frozen Party Snack Table – Every party needs food. This snack and dessert table from Bubbly Nature Creations is amazing! From her twinkle lights backdrop to the Olaf “noses”. She didn’t miss a single detail.
/2/ Printable Frozen Party Invitation – Now that you have a date set to host a party, invite your guests with these fun movie ticket invitations.
/3/ Elsa Papercraft – This DIY Elsa would make the perfect centerpiece for your snack table.
/4/ Olaf Styrofoam Craft – This little guy just makes me smile. You make him to stand next to his maker, Elsa.
/5/ Elsa Crown and Sven Antlers – When your guests arrive you can give them each their very own head wear. Every little girl wants to be a princess! And, I bet the little boys will love to pretend to be reindeer!
/6/ Olaf the Snowman Snacks – She Knows will show you how to make these super cute Olaf Snacks. Your guests are going to love them!
/7/ Olaf Cupcakes – Everyone’s favorite snowman in another sweet treat!
/8/ White Chocolate Covered Banana Cake Snowballs – Every Frozen party has to have snowball shaped food!
/9/ Frozen Grapes {and Free Printable Food Tags} – Frozen fruit is such a great idea. Fun and healthy! Paging Supermom is also offering printable food tags for your party.
/10/ Popcorn Snowballs – Popcorn and a movie go together like Sven and Kristoff! Or, Anna and Elsa. Or, Olaf and warm hugs. Okay, you get it!
/11/ Snow Cap Punch – One of my favorite treats at a party is the punch. There’s just something about Hawaiian Punch, lemon-lime soda and ice cream that says “PARTY!”
/12/ Pin the Nose on Olaf – During intermission everyone can play a friendly game of Pin the Nose on Olaf.
What favorite party food will you be serving at your Frozen party? Tell us about it in the comments or share with us on our Facebook page.
Melissa,
I am redecorating our church’s children’s department to a movie theme. A friend saw the Oscar Party Star Signs on Pinterest and sent it to me. I have tried to click on the link and it won’t allow me to go there. Then I accessed your website and did a search with no results found, I really do want to attempt to make these on our floor, but need instructions. Could you please share the instructions via your site or email them to me?
Thank you!
Jackie
Hi Jackie,
I have done a search, as well, and am not finding anything that we’ve published for Oscar Party Star Signs. The only thing I can recall sharing are these Oscar Statue cookies. Maybe you could use the general design for a sign? http://www.pinterest.com/pin/63120832252103228/
Best wishes,
Melissa

The pin idea is a good idea
I’m doing a Frozen party tomorrow – we are doing a few of these, plus make your own snowman kits (3 different sized marshmallows with two pretzel sticks), and Frozen hearts (strawberries dipped in white chocolate, but you could easily do yogurt instead)
Thanks so much for highlighting my Pin the Nose of Olaf! I feel honored 🙂 So fun to see it on your blog.
Thanks again,
Karin
