The most important thing to me on my porch is having a wreath. To me it says “Welcome Friends”. I love making a wreath for every season. This is something easy to learn and once you know the tricks you to can have a wreath for every season that would greet your guests.
Decorating your front porch doesn’t have to take alot of time. Some items you may want to incorporate in you fall decor are the following…
-
Mums
-
Hay Bails
-
Pansies
-
Corn Stalks
-
Fall decorations you have collected over the years.
I made this scarecrow about 8 years ago. I am pretty good with power tools. When I see a craft project that may involve a jig saw it doesn’t deter me. It’s easy, think about adding a scarecrow to your fall decor.
Add fresh pansies to a wicker basket and you have a wonderful vignette that is sure to greet your guests with a warm fall welcome.
Before the season passes, decorate your porch so that your guests are greeted by something that you created to say “WELCOME… to our happy home”.
