Whether your mom has redecorated her bedroom 4 times since you’ve left the nest, or you come home to find that she has rearranged the furniture again for the 3rd time today, then you may want to consider some of these ideas for her Mother’s Day Gift.
For the Mom who loves flowers and gardens and can’t seem to find just the right botanical print to frame- Why not give her a membership to her favorite Botanical garden….or a certificate for free “weed putting” while we talk gift card.
These pictures were taken at Filoli Center in Woodside Ca.
For the Mom who can never find just that perfectly unique piece for her home….take her on a little trip to an Antiques show. This one coming up in June would be so much fun.
If you can’t make it to that one. Any mom would be happy spending a day with you; out treasure hunting. Make sure to make a cute card to give to her with all the details of what you are planning.
For the Mom who loves to read and likes her book shelves to look like they should be in a magazine…..
She might like her very own personal Library Embosser- Horchow carries a nice one in Desk and Travel.
How about a “designer” style lunch bag to match her perfectly decorated home. Yes, that is a lunch bag, so cute, Sachi Lunch totes are adorable.
To make the gift more personal- you could slip a little gift coupon inside- “Good for lunch once a month with me.” I know she will love it because I’m a Mom and anything that give me more opportunities to spend time with my children is the best gift in the world.
For my last gift idea-
It’s an idea that has been around for …..well, I think for as long as there has been Mom’s that have children who bring home art or good report cards…..yes, a refrigerator magnet , but not just any refrigerator magnet these are so cute.
Made by using old Dominos, glue the magnet on the back pretty up the front anyway you want. Put in a cute little tin or box. I think it would be great to add a little note that says something like this- “Thanks for being my biggest Fan, I hope I still make you proud.”
Great for Grandmas too.
Whatever you give her this year….she will love it…..that’s what Mom’s do.
