Another great use for an antique suitcase is to turn it into a pet bed. Place a pillow in the open suitcase, top with a washable (important) blanket and it’s done. Our Puggle loves her suitcase bed – guests always laugh when we say, “Chloe, suitcase!” LOL
I love your ideas, Nester. I have one piece of furniture like that, and I topped it with an antique sewing machine my mom gave me. It serves no particular purpose, but it’s one of the prettiest things in my house.
