Spring at Home – 10 Ideas to Help Decorate

Here are 10 ideas to help you get your Home feeling like spring-
- Add a little “whimsy” with a pink vinyl bird perched a top your light switch.
- Put flowers in your Bathroom.
- Buy a bottle of “spring” scented hand lotion or soap, set it next to your kitchen sink. {I love Sweet Pea- from Bath and Body Works.}
- Gather up all the gardening/flower books you can find in your home; stack them on you coffee table with a single flower in a vase on top of the books.
- Clean out & organize one drawer in your home {the one that bugs you the most. =)
- Change out the pillows on your sofa to some light colored “springy” ones.
- Make a spring banner…using materials from past years spring clothing.
- Buy some bright colored dish towels.
- Wash the windows….or just the ones you look out of the most. =)
- Make a spring centerpiece for your dinning table- by gathering anything “spring” you have laying around your home.

They always say the best ideas are the simplest, and yours are clever, simple and enchanting. I feel “springy”, lighter in heart, just reading them. In this season of wildflowers burgeoning outside our windows, I think I’ll start with a few key windows…
Spring is here at last-I love to clean out all my plant pots and containers and then replant with new flowers and herbs. I bring inside lots of little posies of spring flowers to arrange on my kitchen table and in my sitting room on the coffee table. I put away my candles and use the flowers to brighten my home. I only bring out the candles on dark rainy days! I love the bright days of spring especially those days I can spend outside.
I love these spring ideas. It is always rainy and cloudy outside time to bring spring inside.
