Gatherings such as Thanksgiving give you a perfect opportunity to gather pictures from your family. Have them come to dinner with an old wedding photo, child-hood photos, school photo etc. {this may be one of the best time to get the “old” photos you want}
Then, what do you do with them you say? Well, scrap-booking is always nice…..but what about a collage/grouping of pictures on a special memory wall in your home.
My daughter put together this grouping of wedding pictures….
First off, she had a large 16×20 wedding portrait of her marriage. She then created a collage/grouping of wedding and engagement photos of parents and grandparents. Kind of like a family history wall, with an emphasis on marriage and the sacred, eternal union that we treasure it to be.
In her words- ”I love how it turned out. I love seeing all these familiar family faces, at such a young and fresh phase of their lives.”
I think this would be a wonderful Thanksgiving after dinner project.
Happy day
