DIY Christmas Garlands

Our fireplace mantle is always the first thing I decorate for the Christmas holiday season. This year I stepped up my crafty edge and made my own bows for the mantle and the front entryway. Using garland is an easy way to spruce up any part of your house, including you mantle. Here are a few easy ways to decorate using Christmas garlands!

This “Believe” Garland is made with silver cupcake liners and shared by Organize and Decorate Everything.

Sneak Peak: Current Projects made this Christmas Garland that is also used for Advent.

I love the simplicity and beauty of these lettered vintage tags by Snippet & Ink. There are some many easy variations to this idea. You could even have each family member make a garland of their favorite Christmas word.

And this Pine Cone Garland featured at Apartment Therapy is so beautiful, I think you could use it all winter.

    These are lovely!

We did an Advent garland this year and hung it above our bookshelf. It’s been a fun way to teach my 3-year-old daughter about the patience/anticipation of Christmas.
