Making a Easter flower arrangement using the items from your yard is easier than you may think. I just recently visited a grand garden filled with flowers overflowing. One of the most intriguing things about the place is that all through the home they have flower arrangements made from the flowers and greenery in the garden.
Grant-it, most of us are not lucky enough or skilled enough to have a garden that looks anything like this. {I know I don’t} but we can still use what we have to bring a little of the outdoors in. Just don’t be afraid to use whatever you have, and to not worry what other may think. If it makes you happy….than Happy Day.
Here is an arrangement I made using things from my yard-
- I first found a vase that would work….use anything you have. Even a bucket, no fancy vase needed.
- Then I gathered rocks from around my yard.
- Clipped some bright colored branches. I used Forsythia branches {Use whatever you have that is tall…even just plain branches would be fine.}
- I then sliced up a apple to add a little more color….but you could use a orange, lemon, plastic Easter eggs, just about anything that can stand to be in water.
- Layered it together and there you have it……
Your very own creation from your yard. {if you don’t have a yard, friends that do are always a great source =)
Flower arrangements need not be perfect or traditional to be enjoyed. The fun part is knowing you created it.
Share with us what you have created from your yard.
Have a wonderful day.

Teresa,
I love this spring flower arrangement idea.
I can’t wait for all my spring bulbs to bloom, so I can give this a try.
I love the bright colors, so fun!
very fun – I especially like the addition of the sliced apples. Cool idea!
Love your ideas. I need to create a folder to save them in. Ha! Loved the Forsythia…just bought several yesterday for some bare spote in the yard. The flowers you posted…..all just a sweet breath of fresh air. Thanks.
You sure got some beautiful pictures that day! I LOVE flowers in the house, and my kids love touching them. So for now my flowers stay in the yard- E gets so excited when the “daffylions” come back every Spring
If only my yard/flowers were 1/10 as nice I would be in heaven. I love spring and all the new flowers.
