If you struggle with keeping your shower clean and protecting your lungs from harmful chemicals at the same time, try a weekly scrubbing with baking soda.
Baking soda works as a great soft scrub for any surface.
When you give your bathroom its weekly wipe-down, sprinkle a cup or so of baking soda onto the damp floor of the shower. A quick scrub with a brush results in a sparkly shower.
If you keep this up regularly (that’s the tough part!) then mildew doesn’t get a chance to stay long and you don’t need to use bleach to make your shower sparkle!
If you have children, practice “Personal Conservation” by letting your kids do the scrubbing. Baking soda is safe for them to sit in, play in, and scrub in. They think it’s fun and the end result is a shiny shower and clean kids!
This week is Spring Cleaning Week!
In honor of spring cleaning week, add a new habit to your weekly chores and you’ll be able to cross “Fear the Mildew” off your spring cleaning list next year!
