With all the recent toy recalls and lead based paint fears, I have been looking extra hard for safe, natural, fun toys for my kids. I am happy to say that I found all of the above with Natural Pod toys.

 

This toy company began out of a parent’s desire to have beautiful, open-ended, natural toys for their own children and that is just what they have accomplished!They are having some great specials for the month of Dec.  Trust me on this one, neither you nor the child you buy for, will be disappointed. The majority of their wooden toys are hand crafted from wood such as alder and western maple and then finished with either a blend of pure oils (no peanut oils so those children with peanut allergies can have fun too!) or colored with a non toxic water based dye (so no lead based paint worries)
