When given the opportunity to review the new Dutch Boy Refresh paint I was very excited.
The room I chose to paint was my laundry-room. It is the first room that you enter from the back door. The room we usually enter first. Its the room that gets all the smudges, fingerprints, and basically it was a eye sore.
What I noticed about the paint-
- It was easy to pour…anything that makes life easier is great by me.
- No fumes- I think the room smelled a lot fresher. My daughter in law who was expecting a baby felt comfortable there ….because of the lack of fumes.
I did not have to prime the walls, and I used just one coat and very little touch up. Now, if my walls had been a darker color I probably would of primed them.
I Love their selection of color, which made it hard for me to pick. I ended up picking Hawaiian sky, Ultra white & Edge of night.
Here is my Laundry-room before I painted with the Dutch Boy Paints-
Here is the Laundry- room after.
I painted the walls Hawaiian sky, and the cabinets and trim are painted Ultra White.
I loved the fresh color, its been a couple of weeks since I painted and it still smells fresh. I can’t say how long this fresh smell will last although the company says that the odor-eliminating effects could last for 1 year.
I love how my new fresh looking laundry-room looks now. Thanks to Dutch Boy Paints.
Happy Day
