We’re entering the season of LOVE. Do you decorate for Valentine’s Day? Of course, I don’t decorate quite like I do for Christmas or Halloween, but I do love to hang a few hearts and add splashes of red and pink here and there. It’s fun! Today I’ve gathered 11 ideas to get you started.
/1/ Heart Doily Decoration – Do you have a favorite spot in your home? Show it how much you love it with a few strands of heart doily garland.
/2/ Embellished Mason Jar – Something tells me you’ve got a few Mason jars lying around. Simply add a heart shaped doily a bright heart and wrap it bakers twine. Easy-peasy!
/3/ Felt Heart Trees – Trees are no longer only for Christmas decor. Fancy up a few styrofoam trees with felt hearts and you’ve got yourself a Valentine’s Day decoration!
[sc:adsense ]/4/ Scrapbook Paper Frame Art – Were you once an avid scrapbooker? Do you still have a ton of scrapbook paper? Find an old frame, grab a handful of paper and make yourself this super cute mantel art!
/5/ Paint Chip Heart Garland – There’s so much that can be done with those paint sample cards found at your local hardware store. Don’t be afraid to go in and pick a bunch up for this craft. Or, if you feel bad {which you shouldn’t…they’re there to be used!}, go in a few days in a row and just pick up a couple at a time. *smile*
/6/ Ruffle Towels – Fancy up your kitchen with these hot, ruffled numbers. Never dry your hands with plain kitchen towels again!
/7/ Thumbprint Heart Art – Gather all of the people that you love and have them make hearts with their thumbprints. It’ll be a treasure long after this Valentine’s Day!
/8/ Felt Heart Wreath – With only a few craft supplies and an evening of catching up on The Bachelor, you can have a lovely new door wreath.
/9/ Burlap Heart Pillow – I’ve always wanted to have pillows that I can change out for each holiday. I just never came across one that jumped out at me for Valentine’s Day. Until now. Burlap and hearts? Yes, please.
/10/ Inexpensive Heart Decoration – Can you believe this Valentine’s Day decoration cost $1? That’s right, for a buck, you can have this in your home, too!
/11/ You and Me on a Tree – Have you ever carved yours and your love’s initials into a tree trunk before? Was it sad to leave the tree behind? This idea is perfect for keeping the tree trunk love alive in your home!
