10 DIY Halloween Costumes for Kids

It’s the time of year when ghosts and goblins come out to play. Of course, they aren’t real ghosts and goblins…they’re our children dressed up for trick-or-treating and Halloween partying! And, if we’re really cool parents, we dress-up with our kids!

My kids ask to be something different every year. And every year I secretly hope they’ll ask to be something I can make myself. A good DIY costume is second to none. This year out of five kids I get to make three costumes. Not bad odds. {The five-week-old baby doesn’t get a say so. Ha!} My oldest son wants to dress-up as a nerd. {Awesome!} My four-year-old daughter wants to dress-up as an angel. {Easy enough!} I’m glad they chose easy costumes to create.

When your kids tell you they want to dress up as something or someone do you immediately think on how YOU can make it yourself? You can. Today I’ve found ten amazing costumes that you can totally make yourself!
