As mothers, professionals, and just hard-at-work women, it’s easy to feel plowed over by the unending laundry list of life’s to do’s. There’s simply too much to do and not enough time to do it all. Often times, this leaves so many of us feeling stressed and exasperated. But with these 3 tips, we can learn to de-stress our every day lives so that we can spend more time enjoying it.
De-Stress for a Happier Life
Put You First
For many of us, stress is triggered mostly when everyone gets our best and we in turn give ourselves. Some times the best de-stresser lies in putting yourself first. Send or pick yourself some flowers. Wear a pretty outfit or write yourself a love note. Feeling appreciated goes along way to eliminating stress.
Many Hands = Light Work
Instead of pushing yourself to the brink of insanity by trying to do everything yourself, try reaching out to your spouse, friends or even your children for some added help. Nothing says de-stress like many hands working toward a common goal. Your mind–and your peace–will thank you for it.
Eat, Drink and Act Wisely
Some times the fastest way to de-stress and relax is often the most simple: breathe and sip. Ever wonder how a simple cup of coffee or tea or a deep breath often soothes the psyche? Taking the time to step away from a situation or savor a favorite drink does wonders to help the mind recharge.
So, next time you’re feeling life’s pinch of stress, use these tips to de-stress and live a healthier, happier life!

Great tips! Love it!
Thanks Alli =)) You wouldn’t believe how often they come in handy! =)
Thanks for the great tips. They are indeed too simple that we often overlook. Taking a deep breathe does wonders to reduce stress instantly. It’s also a good suggestion to take a sip or two of our favorite beverage instead of munching junk foods to release stress.
Judy,
You are sooo right! A sip of my favorite tea goes a long way to curbing my appetite for cookies and sweets. Thank you so much for sharing. I hope you visit us again.
This really gives great pointers on how to just slow down and take a step back from being stressed out. I think the eating and drinking wisely section is particularly useful. I have seen one-too-many friend over or under eat due to stress. It’s most important to take care of yourself! Thanks for the post.
