It’s been said over and over again, but bears repeating – A good t-shirt is a staple in a great wardrobe! From work to play, casual to dressy, alone or layered; t-shirts possess endless wardrobe possibilities.
Whites and brights should be a staple in your wardrobe!
Here are some of my favorite t-shirts styles. I own them all, love them all (worn, washed, and warn some more), and they are all under $20!
V-Neck Tees
I’m partial to v-neck tees. They elongate the neck, making you look thinner, and flatter fuller busts. If you feel like you’re showing a little too much of what your mama gave ya, throw on a great layering tee or camisole underneath.
Also in plus size! Mossimo Plus-Size V-Neck Tee $10
(Psst…check the sale section. I’ve been finding these tees at my local Target in fabulous summer brights for only $2.99!)
Old Navy V-Neck Jersey Tees $14.50
Scoop-Neck Tees
Scoop-neck tees offer a little more coverage than v-neck tees, while still helping to make you look long and lean.
Hanes Ultimate Stretch Tunic $18
Not only do I love that this Hanes tee is made of premium cotton with just a hint of Spandex, I love the tunic length which is perfect for cinching with a great belt.
Embellished Tees
Beads, rosettes, rouching and ruffles all add interest and style to a basic tee – don’t be afraid to get a little funky!
Rosette Accent Knit Top $15.80
Style & co Crochet Scoop-Neck $14.50
Style & co. Ruffle Scoop-Neck $14.50
Elle Rosette Tee $20.99 (This is the only shirt that squeaks above $20 – but it’s a statement piece. Totally worth it.)
Sonoma Sequin Top $11.99
