I recently received the privilege of reviewing three amazing tops from Boob Design. That’s right, I said it, Boob! And after trying out these three pieces, I’m declaring, “I love Boob!”
Boob Design offers amazing style for maternity and nursing wear. Their clothes are simple, fashionable, comfortable, durable, functional, and versatile.
All of their nursing tops “feature a clever double layer fabric design over the bust, allowing for discreet and comfortable nursing. The opening is simply pushed aside with one hand, leaving the other one free to hold your baby.” Simply genius!
I tried out their Maternity Transformer T made of organic cotton (holy softness!), their Nursing Top Long Sleeve, and their Nursing Tie Tunic. I am twenty weeks pregnant, and all three tops fit beautifully. There is plenty of room for me to expand in all of the tops, and I’m elated to know that I’ll have both of the nursing tops to wear after the baby arrives, because they FIT and they’re CUTE as well as functional!
And I must add, I am always skeptical of tunics on my body type. I’m curvy and hippy to say the least (I ordered all three tops in XL; prior to my pregnancy I was in a 14). Often tunics hit my butt at a place that only makes it look bigger (not the look I’m going for). But the Boob tunic fell just above my hips – so flattering.
I really cannot say enough wonderful things about Boob Design. The reality of pregnancy is that our bodies change and they never are quite the same again. It’s delightful to know that there are designers who are cognizant and respectful of a woman’s body – embracing all the shifting and expanding that occur during the most miraculous nine months of our body’s lifetime.
