Rompers seem to be making a come back this year. My previous knowledge of rompers comes from pictures of my mother from the 1960s. That being said, I am strongly opposed to the romper on an adult – frankly anyone over the age of 10. You know who a romper looks good on – my 3-year-old. You know who a romper doesn’t look good on – ME! Unless you are an adorable munchkin of a toddler or maybe 6’10 and 90 lb.s the romper is not for you.
“But it’s summer! And the romper is fun and lightweight!” You know what else is fun and lightweight AND one-piece for that matter – A SUNDRESS!
Sundresses come in so many colors and are very accessible at any price point (Target, Old Navy, The Gap). You can dress a sundress up with a jean jacket and a chunky, beaded necklace – throw in some metallic sandals; or dress it down by pulling it over your favorite bathing suit and throwing on a big, floppy hat. Another great accessory for a sundress: a margarita. Enjoy!

I haven’t worn a romper since I was a kid so i am vaguely nostalgic for them – but I wouldn’t wear one now, no way. Those dresses are super cute.
why, yes. sundress good. romper not so much for old people. and by old I mean not three anymore.
the dresses *are* great
Ewwww….I hate rompers!! I only think they are cute on babes and tots. You can’t have a potty training child wear them, that would be disasterous!!! Sundress’ are the way to go!!
I love those sundresses. Where can I find them??
You can get the dresses at Old Navy! Cheap and cute!
Thanks fourformom!!!
