I was browsing Etsy a few weeks ago and came across this gorgeous bird’s nest necklace from seller MDSparks.  I have a real *problem* with browsing Etsy – I love, love, love all the handmade variety you can find there! Lucky me, she sent me one of these fabulous pendants to review.

Here’s what I love about this necklace: the nest, made of silver jeweler’s wire, is a really nice, heavy weight.  It just feels good around your neck – weighty but delicate at the same time. Three perfect Swarovski pearls make lovely “eggs” for the silver sparrow guarding her nest. I love the symbolism of the mama bird protecting her babies.
