I’ve been testing and testing a bunch of Neutrogena products I recently received and one of my absolute favorites is the 3-in-1 Concealer for Eyes. It’s a concealer, eye cream and SPF 20 sunscreen in one – a great combination.
I’m a person who needs combo products because otherwise a step just isn’t going to get done. I tend to skip the eye cream and sunscreen around my eyes in addition to applying concealer because I am very busy and important and impatient. The problem is, of course, that I need moisture around my eyes. Do you find that tiny lines are much prominent when they are dry? I sure do.
After using this concealer for about three weeks, I noticed a real difference around my eyes. It has a nice consistency and the Buff 09 I received was the perfect color for me. There is good concealing action going on and my little lines look better.
I also found that with just needing one product, it’s easy to apply the perfect amount. See, another reason I procrastinate about using multiple eye products is that by the time I get it all applied, there is excess product that migrates to my eyes and irritates them.
I realize I could clean my bathroom or do some squats while I wait for my multiple, meticulously applied eye products to absorb, but I just want to get it done! In all seriousness, applying a bunch of different skin care products and makeup can get a little overwhelming in terms of what goes first.
With all of the different products I use on my face, it gets a bit confusing, not to mention time consuming. Did you know that your carefully applied anti-aging products will not do you one bit of good if you apply them the wrong way? For instance, nothing should be applied after makeup primer except makeup? Simple, eh? The silicone will prevent absorption of other products. But, what about the order of applying serums, retinoids, bleaching creams or prescription products? I recently got a full education on applying products in layers from A – Z, morning and night, from Total Beauty.
I will be buying this product and recommending it to my friends, and, until a single product that does it all is invented, at least I will be an eye product Ninja with my Neutrogena concealer.
