Artificial Lashes – Yes You Can!

Artificial lashes do for the eyes what lipstick or shimmer gloss does for your lips–it makes them pop or as I like to say, it brings out the beauty that’s already there.

Whether it’s Girls Night Out, date night with the hubby or simply YOU time, artificial lashes are a great, fun, easy way to add a little zing and POW to your face. It doesn’t matter if your lashes are short, long or in between, artificial lashes bring volume, length and in many instances glamour to your eyes.

Choosing Your Artificial Eyelashes

Picking out the artificial lashes that are right for you doesn’t have to be a bore or a burden. Nor does it have to be expensive. In most cases, buying artificial lashes (complete with adhesive) will cost about the same as a tube of mascara (about $7 – $10). When selecting your faux eyelashes, here are some things to keep in mind.

• Natural looking artificial lashes ~ these are best especially if you’re just looking to add a little length or volume. Try and pick the lashes that look most like your own.
• Color or no color ~ artificial lashes come in a variety of colors and lash patterns ranging from elegant to funky. I’ve seen pink lashes and black lashes with gems on the tip. Whatever your preference, have fun with it.
• Face and eye size ~ all of our faces and eyes come in different shapes and sizes. Thank goodness with artificial lashes there’s an app for that. Many faux lashes come in a standard length, however, they can be cut or clipped to your eye shape. When clipping your artificial lashes, start slowly and only clip a few lashes at a time.
