Did you know Alicia Keys glamorous look at the recent American Music Awards featured Mary Kay makeup?  It’s true!  Her AMA-night makeup artist, Ashunta Sherriff, used several Mary Kay products on Alicia, including the NouriShine lip gloss in Pink Diamonds and lip liner in Raspberry pictured above.

Mary Kay sent me a few of the products Alicia wore to review.  Here are a couple of my favorites:

Mary Kay eye primer – This stuff is amazing!  For the longest time, I’ve used concealer  as an eye primer and I thought it worked quite well!  (For reasons why you should  use primer, check out this vlog I did a while back!)  But this primer is much, much better.  It’s really light-weight and it makes my eye makeup POP and stay on!  I can honestly say I’m hooked on this product. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to go without it again.

Mary Kay tinted moisturizer – To give Alicia’s beautiful skin a sheer, flawless look, Sherriff used Mary Kay’s Tinted Moisturizer with SPF 20.  This is a great alternative to foundation. It’s super-light yet provides great coverage, moisturization, and protection from the sun.
