Fall’s Fabulous 5!
Fall is just about here! You know what that means: the leaves are beginning to change, the weather is a bit more crisp, and the summer sun is no longer dominating the skies. Kids are back in school and the beginnings of holiday decorations are already appearing in stores. Fall is my favorite season. I look forward to it every year and I wish it could last much longer than it does. Since it can’t, I always make it a point to fully appreciate it while it’s here. And you can too! Check out my top 5 things to love about Fall:
- The Colors! Fall’s hues of red, orange, and brown can make the entire world look like it’s warmed by fire. They blend and sway in beautiful patterns that can only be seen nature.
- The Food! Mmm. Soups, stews and roasts! Fall is when the oven comes back on and the house stays filled with the aromas of wonderful foods that comfort and stick to your ribs!
- The Clothes! Scarves, sweaters, cardigans, cargo pants, boots – I love it all! Fall always means more layers and fashion–to me anyway.
- The Shorter Days! There is something comforting about shorter days and early dimming suns. It makes curling up in the warmth of a blanket and spending quality time with a book that much more appealing!
- The Festivals! Fall is a great time to get outdoors and enjoy the pumpkins, corn mazes, fairs, and crafts that pop up this time of year!
Fall only lasts for a short time. So take advantage of all the glorious things that come with the changing of the seasons!

I love fall too! The leaves, the food, the sweaters . . . I actually just posted my own Top 5, but as we live in California, it’s a bit different!
