No doubt you’ve heard the reports and seen the news: we’re in an economic crisis. It wasn’t too long ago that Bloody Monday resulted in the lay off of tens of thousands of people. Millions have had their incomes slashed or drastically reduced and the outlook for the future is dim. BUT.

 Yes, there is a BUT.

In the face of fear, we have an opportunity to do what we’ve always been too busy, too chicken or too distracted to do: pursue what really makes us happy. Whether that’s to return to school, become a more involved parent or finally start our own business; the truth is we don’t have to sit and wait for the bailout plan to come to us. We are our greatest resource in this hour and I think it’s about time we stopped allowing fear to contaminate us and start allowing hope and wisdom to guide us to the joy and prosperity that is rightfully ours.

Say this with me: fear lives and breathes on my say so; and I say, today, it’s as good as dead!

Fear has as much power as you give it. So, make the decision to give it what it deserves most: nothing.
