By the time our faces begin to show signs of aging, we have already been applying makeup for decades. We have our favorite products and colors and a routine as to how we use our cosmetics. However, to prevent our faces from fully showing our aging, changes in makeup and its application need to be made.
Here are some tips to help you prevent your makeup from making you look older:
1. Don’t wear heavy foundation on your face. A more natural look will keep you looking younger. Use a light moisturizing foundation, never a matte.
2. Limit the use of powder to the nose area. Powder accentuates wrinkles.
3. Switch from powder blush to cream.
4. Avoid heavy eye makeup and stay away from very dark colors.
5. Don’t use bright red lipstick. In fact, you are better off wearing lip gloss, which is much more moisturizing and won’t show cracks in your lips.
We can’t turn back the clock, but that doesn’t mean that we can’t try to slow it down. Does anybody have any more tips to share?
