I am an online window shopper. I am constantly looking at stuff I want to
buy, but can’t afford.
I used to add these items to my wish lists (if the website
I was on had a wish list) but then I had more wish lists than I knew what to do
with! I would forget about the items I
loved from small boutiques and would always miss items that went on
sale.
Then I discovered Shopping Notes.
Shopping Notes has a free service that you can use to
monitor all the items you wish you could afford from ANY website all in one
place. I am currently watching several
items from http://gymboree.com, a few from http://etsy.com and a few from http://amazon.com too.
What’s even more helpful is that any time the price changes
on one of your favorite items Shopping Notes will email you, so that when the price drops to something that is in your budget you don’t miss the sale!
That’s what I call SMART shopping. To try out Shopping Notes go to http://shoppingnotes.com.
You can cut and paste web addresses for your favorite
items, or you can install a browser extension that will allow you to just click a
button when you’re surfing on a site that has an item you’d like to add to ShoppingNotes (but you have to
use Firefox to do this).

OMGosh that’s perfect! I curently use Kaboodle for my wish lists, but it doesn’t tell you when stuff goes on sale. I’m going to go sign up right now and give it a try or a few things I’ve had my eye on but can’t afford until it goes on sale too. Thanks!
Shauna, actually ShoppingNotes works with both Internet Explorer and Firefox.
The only thing with IE is that it takes 30 seconds to put the ShoppingNotes button on your toolbar whereas in Firefox it just takes 2 seconds
