We start to think more about protecting our skin from the sun’s rays this time of year, but did you know the Skin Cancer Foundation recommends using an SPF 15 or higher anytime you’ll be outdoors? I am very fair and burn easily, so I was excited when Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula sent me some of their SPF products to review. I have loved everything of theirs I’ve tried before so I expected great things!

First I tried the Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula SPF 15 Body Lotion. I put this on as soon as I get out of the shower and it gives me the perfect amount of moisturization, plus it SMELLS great! It also gives my skin a nice little sheen so it looks really healthy. And I am not kidding, later in the day I found myself stroking my arm because my skin felt so soft. (Maybe I shouldn’t admit that?) Plus of course, it’s got SPF 15 so if I decide to go outside with the kids for a few minutes, I know I’m protected.

Next, I tried the Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula SPF 15 Gel Oil – oh my goodness! I think I *might* like it better than the lotion! It’s really light, absorbs fast and has the same great smell, and it adds even MORE shiny sheen to your skin. I definitely felt like I was glowing after I put it on.
Lastly, I tried the Palmer’s SPF 15 Cocoa Butter lip balm. Now as you may remember I am a lip balm addict (one of my addictions is Palmer’s Chocolate & Peppermint Lip Butter- HELLO yummy!!) The Palmer’s SPF lip balm did not disappoint. It’s very creamy, feels great on, and of course protects your pucker from the sun!
I’d highly recommend these products because they work great, are easily available at mass retailers, and are very reasonably priced from $1.50 for the lip balm to $8.50 for the gel oil.

This sounds like a great product. I’ve been looking and looking for something that will moisturize your skin but still has SPF. I’m glad I came across your review!
Thanks! It is so hard to find lotion with SPF in it. I scored some the other day, but they didn’t have many and I use lotion all the time. And once I run out of my Blistex Deep Renewal Lip Balm with SPF 15 I will give palmers a try if I can find it up here.
