Suave was a big presence at BlogHer this year, but somehow I walked away without any hair product samples to try.  Which is a bummer because I looove trying new hair products!  But when the Suave people found out about that, they sent me some of their Suave Professionals line to test out.

I was a little skeptical because I had tried some Suave Professionals a couple of years ago and I didn’t like the products.  BUT, I must say that this time, I LOVED them. I tried Suave Professionals Vibrant Shine shampoo & conditioner and they left my normally dry hair feeling soft and they smell GREAT! (I am a sucker for good-smelling hair products!)  I really like them as much as any shampoo and conditioner I have ever used.

To help tame my wavy hair, Suave sent me Suave Professionals Healthy Curls Anti-Frizz Cream and Spray Gel.  Both of these products work GREAT.  The day before I used the cream, I let my hair air-dry without product in it to see how frizzy it was.  It was PLENTY frizzy. The next day, I used the Anti-Frizz cream to smooth my waves and the Spray Gel to help encourage the lazy part of my waves to curl a bit more. I was VERY happy with the results!  I love the cream because it doesn’t weigh my hair down and the spray gel because it helps hold my curl but it’s not sticky at ALL, which is a problem I’ve run into with similar products.

So, overall I give Suave Professionals two thumbs up!  Run out to your local drugstore and check them out!
