I used to think sneakers were just for working out. Then I came to the conclusion that there are too many cute sneakers in this world to limit myself to only wearing them when I work out (re: rarely).

Summer sneakers are all about being lightweight, comfortable, and fun. Pair them with shorts, capris, and even skirts. And don’t forget to take advantage of casual Fridays by wearing a pair of cute and colorful sneakers!

Kids Champion Canvas Sneaker $29.95 – “Cool” may not be the first thing that comes to mind when you think of Keds, but these bright pink sneakers are fresh and adorable.

Converse Chuck Taylor Low Sneaker $39.95 – You can never go wrong with a classic pair of Chucks.

ASICS GEL Tadita $70 – You can’t get much more comfortable than an ASICS sneaker with GEL soles and a pop of silver and lime green make these sneakers fashionable enough to wear outside the gym.

adidas Original Superstar $65.95 – These adidas Superstars are a personal favorite. I’ve owned them in just about every color since middle school and think they are just about as classic as a pair of Chucks.

TOMS Silver Glitters $54 – I had to throw a little sparkle in, especially since TOMS donates a pair of shoes to a child in need for every pair purchased.

PUMA Espera Canvas Ballerina Flat $70 – PUMA is known for their super light and fashionable sneakers and these ballerina flats are adorable.

Nike Women’s Sweet Classic Leather $54.99 – These old school tennis shoes with a pop of color make me want to pick up a racket! Or watch James Blake from the sidelines.

Frye Kira Low Top $118 – These all leather sneakers come in 16 different colors and come looking perfectly worn.
