Sunglasses are a must during the bright summer months at the beach and pool, and finding the right pair can be tricky. No matter what the current styles, stick with these recommendations based on your face shape and you can’t go wrong.
The best way to find your face shape is to pull wet hair back after a shower and look straight into a mirror. With your hair back, glasses off, and no makeup, you can see your full beauty and facial structure.
Oh, and the same general rules apply to regular glasses, as well!
Face Shape: Oval/Oblong – face is longer than it is wide
Try: Anything goes for this “ideal” face shape
Avoid: Glasses that are too big for your features
Famous Oval Faces: Jennifer Aniston, Halle Berry, Cindy Crawford

Face Shape: Square/Rectangular – strong jaw line, pronounced cheekbones, straight chin
Try: Round frames to balance hard angles and gradient lenses (dark at top, lighter on the bottom) to downplay jawlines
Avoid: Square shapes that accentuate hard angles
