Back in December, I showed you my pretty glittery TOMS shoes and told you that for each pair they sell, they donate a pair to a child who doesn’t have shoes. I also told you that in December, their goal was to sell and donate 30,000 pairs of TOMS Shoes.  Now, I am here and thrilled to tell you that they DID it and then some!  TOMS surpassed their goal and sold and donated 37,000 pairs of shoes in thirty days! Amazing!  TOMS founder Blake Mycoskie was just in Ethiopia in January delivering those 37,000 pairs!

The best thing about TOMS is that this wasn’t just a holiday promotion.  TOMS donates one pair of shoes to a person in need of shoes for every pair they sell – ALL YEAR ROUND! So if you find yourself entranced by their new Vegan wrap bootie or the silver glitter TOMS (want!!), go ahead and buy them!  Because for every pair you buy yourself, you’re buying a pair for a child in need…and giving is always in fashion!
