It is so hard to find trendy plus sized clothing. Forget looking in stores. It never fails that they have about five size 4′s, and nothing beyond the 12+ sizes. Save a little time and check out these stores online.
Remember, ALWAYS check for coupon codes before ordering. RetailMeNot is a good place to start. Or just Google the name of the store + coupon code.
A few items I found and loved…the numbers correspond to the list below.

Thank you! I am having a terrible time looking for cute clothes in stores. Usually the largest size is 14. If clothes are sized over 14 they tend to be polyester or something that my grandma would wear. I am going to go check out the sites you suggested.
THANK YOU! I can’t wait to check these out.
I’ve never purchased clothes online before… Any tips or suggestions??
I’m a plus-sized chica and get a lot of my stuff online. Ebay is also another excellent place to find barely used plus-sized clothes for a lot less $$ that we’d pay new.
Erin — I’d suggest that you shop online at those places that have retail stores near you. At Lane Bryant and Avenue, one is able to order online and return in stores, saving on the cost to return. I do this a lot!
Old Navy has free returns on the plus size womens clothing – another plus
I love Old Navy plus. So cute. Also, I really like torrid a lot too.

Let’s not forget Coldwater Creek. They RAWK in AlL sizes.
Hey there, lady….this isn’t boding well for my success with Financial Peace. i LOVE that you listed all of these sites…but now I just want to shop…which is not in the zero balance budget. =-)
It didn’t really bode well with my financial peace, but at least I used cash….. (and I do need clothes!) I just bought the yellow shirt. I think it’s adorable.
Lane Bryant has a “Right Fit” system of pants that are absolutely great. They are awesome quality, and with all the different fits and sizes, it would be almost impossible to find a pair that didn’t fit wonderfully.
