Do you ever feel tired, a bit sluggish or just lacking in energy and stamina? I could also, just ask if you’re a parent, right?
I feel all of these things, regularly. What does that mean? It means I need more sleep, but it also means that I need more protein in my diet. Do you know how I know this? Because when I’m feeling blah, all I have to do is eat something with protein like, a grilled chicken breast, or a bean burrito and almost immediately, I can feel myself perking up and getting energy. Do you know why that happens? Because protein is a part of every cell in your body, no other nutrient plays as many different roles in keeping you energized and healthy, as protein. Women (and men) who consume higher amounts of protein lose more weight, feel fuller and have better muscle mass maintenance over time, than those who don’t.
Lean meat, milk, legumes and eggs are all excellent sources of protein. Eggs are all-natural and provide one of the highest quality proteins of any food available. In fact, the quality of egg protein is so high that scientists frequently use eggs as the standard for measuring the protein quality of other foods! For only 70 calories and about 15 cents, one egg provides more than 6 grams of protein!!! and half of that, is in the yolk. You know, the yummy, golden, rich delicious part that so many people skip out on. Y’all, eat the YOLK, it’s good for you and it’s delicious. Do you need any more reasons than that?
So: Protein = weight loss, mind and body energy, healthy body and satisfies your appetite longer. And eggs provide one of the highest quality protein of any food available, so they’re delicious, nutritious, packed full of energy and there are over 100 ways to prepare them. So, get crackin’ heh

Thanks for the info. Eggs always seem to get such a bad rap. I could really use some energy, really, really. Think I’ll put some hard boils in my frig and try that for a snack when I am feeling low. Afternoons hit me like a ton of bricks.
