About a year ago I had an epiphany. I was fat. By doctors terms I may have even been obese. I was completely unhappy with how I looked and how I felt and decided that it was time that something was done. After talking with different people about all kinds of diets and eating plans, I decided to try Weight Watchers Online.
I signed up for Weight Watchers Online because honestly going to meetings just didn’t interest me. I am a self-motivating person and if I set my mind on accomplishing something, then everybody watch out cause not much can stop me!! (Those of you who know me in real life can stop laughing now!) Online there were also some great tools and the techie in me had a blast using the point tracker, weight tracker, exercise tracker, recipe maker, message boards, and all the other cool E-tools. I started tracking what I was eating and about a year later was 40lb lighter and feeling great. I felt so great that I found myself tracking less and less so I decided to take a break and see what I could do on my own. I did well for awhile, but lately noticed the weight coming back on. There was no way I was going to let myself go down that road again so I decided to re-subscribe to lose the last 20 pounds and reach my final goal.
When you join Weight Watchers Online you have the ability to choose a food plan that works for you. You can choose either the Flex Plan where you are given a certain amount of points and can eat what you choose as long as you stay within your point range or the Core Plan where you can eat as much as you want as long as the food is a core food.
One thing about me. I do NOT do well with somebody telling me I can’t have something. So one guess what I chose. Yep, the flex plan so I can use points however I choose. Of course the more fruits and veggies I eat, the more food I am allowed since they are so low in points, but if I want that Oreo cookie, not a problem as long as I track it. The food tracker is a breeze to use to keep track of your points. The majority of the foods that I eat are already in their database so all I have to do is type in the name of the food and voila, I know how many points it is. If I’m making something special for dinner then I can use the recipe builder where I enter all the ingredients, how many servings it has, and then know exactly how many points the recipe is. Eating out. Most of the food is already in there so I can check the menu online then use the tracker to find the best food for me. So easy!!
Why am I telling you all this?
I met a PR for Weight Watchers on Twitter the other day and she gave me three 3mo. subscriptions to Weight Watcher Online for me to giveaway to my readers.
So now you can have the opportunity to try out Weight Watchers Online for yourself and we can be Weight Watcher buddies! I am giving away one online subscription over at A Box of Chocolates, plus another at Chic Critique where I write about healthy, beauty and fashion, and most importantly you can win one RIGHT HERE!
All you have to do to win is leave a comment here telling me why you want to lose weight. I will use random.org to choose the lucky winner on Sunday, August 24th.
Don’t forget to come over to my place for another chance to win and find out how to sign up for the 3 mo subscription giveaway at Chic Critique.
Good luck. I can’t wait to get healthier with you!!!

I want to have more energy and get healthy so when I do have grandchildren I will be able to keep up with them.
I want to have more energy to keep up with my kiddos! This would be great motivation!
I’m a previous Weight Watcher’s loser and Lifetime Member. It’s a great program and sadly one I need again

I want to lose weight because I’m very very overweight. WW has worked for me in the past, and I know it can continue to help me.
I have about 30 pounds I want to loose before we try to have children. I don’t want the extra weight there before I start packing on baby weight! Also we have a wedding this November and I want to look much better!
I want to lose weight becasue (just like you said early in this post) I’m fat! And I don’t want to be fat anymore
I had my 4th child 4 months ago and at age 39, I find the pregnancy weight is not falling off quite as easily as it did after the birth of my first baby (over 10 years ago!) I need help!
I want to be able to wear the clothes I already have!
I have actually just started dieting and excersising. While I swore I wasn’t going to do a fad diet or program, if it is free, I’ll give it a try! Plus I like the ease of tracking things online.
I just started my excercise and diet routine, I am sick of being fat so to speak. I swore I wouldn’t do a fad diet or program but if it is free I will definetely give it a try.
I am about 30 pounds overweight and desperately want to feel better about myself. My husband is diabetic and I think that if I was losing weight it would motivate him to do the same. I want to teach my son healthy eating habits. Weight Watchers seems like it would work for me – would love to try it for free!
Because I am totally STUCK at 14.5 pounds. *sigh*
And again, since you’ve heard this two other places *ahem* my membership runs out asap!
I had no idea that they had an online program! I tried them several years ago but when I went off to college it just didn’t happen. Now that I am a mommy to a toddler I would LOVE to have more energy and also look better for my husband and feel better about myself. I am up for it!
Simply put…I want to lose the baby weight, I want to be able to keep up with my kids, and I want to look good!
Hubby and I did WW about 5 years ago. I was 10 lbs from my goal when we hit a really hard time in our family.
My mom went into the hospital with stomach pains. She was diagnosed with advanced liver cancer and passed away within 3 weeks.
Three months after that my mother-in-law, who had been through thyroid issues, breast cancer and emphasyma passed away.
Exactly one month later my father-in-law, who had also been through a lenghty illness, passed away.
Three parents in four months pushed my hubby and I back into the Emotional Eating cycle and we haven’t been able to pull ourselves back out.
I was looking at – and backing up – old pictures and came across some from our “skinny” days. We both got very depressed and want to get back to a healthier eating style.
I have the exercise thing down this time though – I’m at the gym 5 days/week for weight lifting and yoga so if I can get my eating habits back with a WW membership I would be so excited and grateful.
Thank you for the opportunity.
I’ve been doing fairly well at keeping track on my own, but I’ve always been curious if WW would be different/easier?
Simply put…I want to lose the baby weight, I want to be able to keep up with my kids, and I want to look good!
I would love to be back to a weight where I don’t have to THINK about clothes. It seems like I spend so much mental and emotional energy on trying to find clothes that fit, hide, flatter, lengthen, shorten, yada yada yada! Weight Watchers is a great program and I’d love to be back on it! (Ran out of room in the budget for it last year.)
I want to be able to keep up with my one year old without feeling exhausted at the end of the day.
As many of my readers know, I’m starting my weight loss video journal back up and what better way to get started than with this! Would love to win. Just want to lose weight to run around with my youngest..not be the fat mom, and have better sex with my man..well, it’s not bad but I would be more comfortable, in my own mind.
I want to be healthy. And feel good again.
Ooo OO!!! How cool! I was actually just thinking about joining Weight Watchers, but wasn’t sure how to work out the meetings. Yay! *fingers crossed*
Yep. I just had that same epiphany. Totally.
Wow, what an awesome opportunity. Until I read your experience with it I never would have considered WW something I’d be interested in.
I want to lose weight to be healthy and feel better about myself mentally and physically. I want a long life with my husband. A few months ago he and I both started exercising and eating better. He’s lost 30 lbs, but I’ve only lost 10 and I think this would be a step in the right direction.
And throwing my hat in the ring here…
Ooh, now THIS is a giveaway for me
I did WW 6 years ago and lost quite a bit of weight before getting pregnant with our first. In the past five years, though, my weight has been steadily creeping up. I know that losing weight will give me more energy and just feel better in general, which I know my hubby and kids would all appreciate!
I’m trying to prepare to have a baby in the next year and need to loose a lot of weight to reduce the health risks for me and my future baby!
I’m 50 pounds overwight and my doctor wanted me to try Weight Watchers, but I couln’t afford it. My cholesterol is too high, my blood pressure is getting higher, and my energy level is 0. I need help!
I would love this…trying to lose that extra weight that has been with me for far too long!
I just got married, and I want to stay healthier and loose some more weight as I begin married life.
Since my twins were born I have about 50 lbs to lose and am having one heck of a time doing it! I know how much WW would help, I’ve lost weight with them before, but just don’t have the extra $$ to join right now. 3 months free would be just what I need to get things rollin!
I have had 2 babies in 22 months and due to a horrible infection from the first c-section I was unable to lose ANY weight from the first baby. I would love to get to my prebaby weight which means I need to lose over 50 lbs. I have lost some on my own but would love the guidence.
Wow!
Before getting pregnant I lost 50 pounds. Now that my little one is 16 months old, I am STILL carrying the baby weight around.
I am not the healthiest, happiest mommy I can be, and I want to change that.
Thanks for the opportunity!
I need a system I can stick with.
I lost 20 pounds and then gained it all back. Talk about depressing. It felt great 20 lbs lighter…
great giveaway! I have quite a bit of weight to lose and I have always heard great things about WW. Pick me!
I have been obsessing over when this post would come out (okay, maybe not obsessing, but checking back frequently). Ever since I saw your first post about this giveaway over at Chic Critique, I knew I needed to get back to WW to lose my weight – again.
It worked for me the first time because I had a goal – lose weight so I could have a baby. Well, 18 months later, I have the baby and the weight again. I can feel how my weight is affecting my ability to play with her and know if I don’t lose it fast, I’ll be waddling after a toddler at the park. How embarrassing!
I would love to lose for my upcoming wedding in January. While I know I’m not fat, I could stand to lose a few pounds/learn to eat better!
I would love to set a better example for my daughters and have more confidence in my appearance.
so i’ve told you i want to lose weight to set a better example for my kids and gain some self confidence back…
i also want to lose weight because i know that if i don’t do something about it now, it’s going to get out of hand and what are just health ‘concerns’ now will become full blown problems in the future. i owe myself and my family better than that.
I want to lose the weight so that we can start our family. I started dieting, but without support it is so difficult! I would love to have the online support of WW.
I want to feel better about myself, plain and simple.
I have to get some of this weight off to keep up with these kids!!
I’d like to enter on behalf of my husband. The doctor suggested signing up to help him lose weight, but it would be a struggle for us to afford the subscription right now. We agreed that he’d try it on his own for a month, but the month is almost over and he’s only exercised a few times. This would be right in time for us!
8 Years ago or so I lost 110 lbs on Weight Watchers, unfortunately I gained it back (and some, sigh) but would love another chance! I still haven’t forgotten how good it felt to MOVE. At this weight unfortunately feeling good and moving, do NOT happen at the same time!
Thanks,
Brooke
My motivation is definitely more energy. I don’t mind the way I look now, (of course I could look better), but I just know the slimmer/healthier I get, the more energy I have, and with three wild girls, I need all I can get!
Because I am borderline diabetic, and the options are lifestyle improvements or meds. I would like to avoid the artificial ways if possible and thus make healthier decisions for me. In turn I think this will rub off on my family.
Here’s to a lighter me.
I want to lose weight so that I can keep up with my toddler son.
I’ve always dreamed of being a “hot mama.”
This would be awesome!! I still have 20-30 lbs to lose from baby #2 which I had 2.5 years ago! As I get older it just gets harder and harder to take the weight off. I would LOVE to get on weight watchers to track myself so I know what I’m eating. I want to feel like my old self again and get rid of this fat tire in my middle! This would be such a great tool to help it finally happen.
I really have to start losing weight again. I am so uncomfortable I can hardly stand it and I do not recognize myself in the mirror or pictures – that’s not ME!
I have been wanting to try WW but didn’t want to spend the money. I really need to lose 30 lbs.
I tried hard to get down to a good weight after having my 4th child. By the grace of God, I succeeded. This past April I miscarried. After this loss, I put on about 20 lbs. I want to get pregnant again, but want to get to a healthy weight before getting pregnant.
I want to loose weight so that I can be healthy and portray the image of a fit young woman.
i want to lose weight to lower my cholesterol.
I so need to win this contest.
I so need to win this contest
. I have sixty pounds to lose and I just can’t get it to come off. I’ve counted calories and carbs and nothing works for me, yet. I need something I can live with and the flex plan sounds like a possibility. I need to be healthy for my four babies and my darling husband. My husband and I are thinking we might have another baby and pregnancy was so much easier on my body before I gained sixty pounds. With four babies to take care of already, I need a fifth pregnancy to be as easy as possible.
I want to set a good example for my daughters. I want to value myself enough to stay healthy.
I want to lose weight so that I can be more conscious of my life, more in control, and to have more energy to enjoy life.
I want to lose the extra weight because I want to feel fit, and be healthy.
Thank you!

I need to get back to WW! I am a life time member! But haven’t been in a while and it would give me the jump start that I need!
Yes! I need to do this.
My husband and I are going to Kauai for Christmas this year. We will be married 17 years and have never gone on a vacation together. I’m so excited! I would love to lose some weight and feel comfortable on the beach in a bathing suit.
I had my son 10 months ago and I hope to get pregnant again toward the end of the year. However, I have chronic hypertension, so pregnancy is more dangerous for me than usual. Add to that that I’m 40 this year and I’m running out of time! Issac Hayes’ death this weekend (caused by a stroke linked to his chronic hypertension), and I’m desperate to lose weight!
I want to lose weight because the last ten pounds of pregnancy weight are just STUCK, even though my son is 17 months old! I need this extra little help, but I don’t have the time to go to WW in person, what with working full-time and taking care of a toddler (and a husband ;p).
I need to lose weight. I’m at my heaviest ever, unless you count being pregnant. I feel fat and ugly and uncomfortable in my own skin. Thanks for a great giveaway!
I would love to try WW online. I have about 30 lbs to lose. Each of my 3 girls added a little weight to me, and it is definately time to get it off and be in control again. I have always wanted to try WW-the point system seems like a great idea. Plus my 17th anniversary is the 24th, what a great gift!!!!
For the first time in my life, I was skinny. I’ve always been chubby. Then I got married, and I got fat. I worked my behind off, and watched everything that went into my mouth, and I got to my dream weight. I wasn’t even this fit or thin in high school. I immediately took all my “fat” clothes to the local women’s shelter, and bought an entire new wardrobe.
I then immediately got pregnant. I now have 50 lbs to lose again. And no time to do it, it feels like. Help!
I did WW before baby and it was working well. I have another 8 pounds to go until a “healthy” weight and would love the membership!
I would love to lose weight so I can be healthier
Plus, there are a lot of cute clothes i’d love to wear lol
Thanks for the great contest! I’d love to check this out
I need to lose weight to have the energy to keep up with my kids!
this is just in time! how did you know I need some assistance in this department? thanks for the giveaway opportunity!
What an exciting opportunity! I just gave birth to my first child two months ago. Before I got pregnant, I was at my all-time highest weight. I am seriously motivated to get things into gear & be fit so I can keep up with my little guy as he gets mobile. I also don’t want to be in the same place two or three years from now, when we might want to have another child. I did WW online about two years ago & lost 10 lbs. I have started walking regularly with a girlfriend 3-5 time a week, but I would LOVE to get back into the game & utilize those online tools again too!
I have two toddlers and having them back to back has left me looking and feeling undesirable. I am exercising almost everyday now, but need help w/ my diet. I have never tried WW, but would love to. Thanks!
I gained some weight since my hysterectomy surgery and need some help getting it back off and keeping it off!
I had my 6th child 2 months ago. Never got all the weight off after #5… so I’ve easily got 25 pounds to loose – not so easy! I did WW successfully after #2 (that was before I understood “internet”). This sounds awesome!
Why do I want to lose the weight? Well, I could list at least four different reasons but I’ll just name the most important one. I’d love to be many pounds lighter for the simple fact that I’d feel better and would be able to enjoy everything in my life a little bit more (especially in making memories with my children).
Not to mention that my last baby was born a year ago and I’m still wearing my maternity shorts/jeans….oh, wait…I said I was only gonna list one reason. Sorry.
I have done WW off and on but never online. I have never had enough discipline. My “baby” just turned 3, so this extra 25-30 lbs is no longer baby weight, right?
I want to be healthy. I want to be able to run and bike and swim without being winded so easily. I want to learn how to eat healthier and make better choices. Thanks for the giveaway!
I’d love to win this prize! I’ve been thinking about WW lately and had a friend use it and be very successful. Since I’m not working right now outside of the home, this would be a GREAT time for me to win something that would help me out a lot! Thanks!!!
How exciting! I would love to try this. I am working on losing baby weight and this would definately help me!
I’d like to get my body in better shape BEFORE starting a family. I know pregnancy will be an overall better experience if I start with a healthy body!
Where do I start? After my first two children, the weight just seemed to slide off, not that I was ever really skinny, but I was a healthy weight. My 3rd child was born 2 years ago, and I am the heaviest I’ve ever been. She was premature, and I think the bed-rest didn’t help things… but for whatever reason, I’m stuck. So many people have mentioned weight watchers…. but I think I’ve been stuck in denial that I can do it myself.
I had my sweet baby girl in May and of course I have some baby weight to loose. I need to shed about 20lbs to get back in my clothes. It would be great to have a list of healthy meals that I could make especially since my husband also gained 15-20lbs in sympathy weight. Thanks for the great giveaway!
I’ve been “going to” sign up for WW online since June 1st. I guess if I won a subscription it would get my butt off the couch and make me start!
My husband has been so great to get in shape in the last few months. I have been going to the gym, but eating wise I am still a mess. I need help! I want to lose the “baby weight” before my baby turns 3!
Having had 2 babies in 3 years, I haven’t quite lost the baby weight yet. It would be great to get back to my usual weight, eat healthfully, and set a good example for my children. Also, I don’t want to scare my non-mommy friends away from having kids. It’s super-great, even if it’s a little tough to get into your skinny jeans again.
I have gained some weight back recently. I am a lifetime member but need some help getting back on track.
I want to lose weight so that I have more energy to play with my kids.
I am right where you were when you decided you were fat. I want to play tag with my daughters and not get winded. I want to show them what a healthy woman looks like. A few free months would hopefully go well and motivate me to get an ongoing subsciption worked into our budget!
Please enter me in the drawing…..I would love to feel healthier =)
I would love to lose the weight–with my Hypothyroidism it can be hard! I need something to help me and manage my weight somehow. I would like to get my cholesterol down as I was diagnosed with high cholesterol in my 20′s. purposedrivenlife4you(at)gmail(dot)com
I would love to win so I can loose weight and set the example for my children to live a healthier lifestyle. Since becoming a Mom I have found it hard to find “me” time to focus on exercise and diet. I now realize that I am not only hurting myself but also my children by not giving them a healthier Mom who will be around for many years. Your prize would be a blessing to my entire family.
I want to win…I NEED to lose 75 pounds….I can’t stand the way I look, feel and am so OBESE. It’s just sickening!! Please let me win…so I can lose!!
I would like to enter. I have lost 70+ lbs and want to lose another 50 or so. I have a lot more energy and am no longer afraid to cover up when in a bathing suit. I want to lose more to meet my goal.
The ‘baby’ has just turned two, and after having three kids in three years and all the mumbo jumbo pregnancy/nursing stuff that goes with it, it’s time for ME! Plus, being an ‘older mom’, I really need to start taking care of myself so I can continue to give to THEM!
Thanks for a great opportunity.
I want to lose weight because i want to be healthy. It is not about being skinny or fat to me, its about feeling strong and healthy. I think that Weight Watchers is an important part of that for me because I need to weight loss (and maintaining it) is a part of getting healthy for me.
Thanks for the great opportunity!
I suppose I’m going to sound repetitive here, but my dh and I need to loose weight for the love of our 16 1/2 yr old special needs son. He needs us around longer and we’re already in our 50s. We just need to do it!
Among about a million other great reasons for me to lose weight, I’ll say that I’m hoping that it would help my knee. I have been having lots of trouble with my left knee — maybe it would be happier if it had less to carry around.
I run 10 miles a week and do aerobics 2 days a week and I’ve only lost 25 pounds in 1 year and a half. It has to be my diet. I’ve heard WW does wonders…I’m want to give it a try!
On August 5, I saw my asthma specialist and was informed the damage to my lungs is permanent, and that I need to lose at least 30 lbs. Frankly, I should lose 50 lbs. He said the extra weight makes my lungs work harder and that I am at risk of developing diabetes. That, he said would make my asthma and lungs much worse. He recommended WW Online. Just cannot spare the money right now.
I am making better food choices, and brought my sneakers to work today so I can walk for 30 minutes during my lunch break.
cool, didn’t know you were doing this in different places. Yes, you should pick me because I am your only sister! (right?) haha, I know it’s just a random thing, but I really would like to get chosen because I am going to start on WW soon anyway!
I’ve been trying to loose weight for a while now (like 2 years) since my last pregnancy I am 40 lbs above my happy weight. I am on the limit from overweight to obese. I need this for myself and for my family. The kids deserve a happier mommy to play with
I was seriously thinking about joining WW and then I ran into this giveaway.. might be a sign!
Happy weight loosing!
I want to be healthy, I want my children to see an example of health, I don’t want to be a do as I say not as I do parent.

I had a really rough pregnancy culminating in pre-term labor and bedrest, and I gained more weight than was healthy during my pregnancy. I gave birth on June 5 (two weeks early) to a beautiful baby girl, Rowan. I’m having trouble shedding the extra weight, and since my new baby is colicky and very, very, very high-needs I don’t have the time to take care of ME. I’ve been wanting to join Weight Watchers, but with my husband’s layoff, we can’t afford it. I want to be healthy and I want to feel good about myself again.
I want to lose because I am so ready to get preggo again and I don’t want to 1) set myself up for a difficult pregnancy by being at an unhealthy weight and 2) make it even harder to lose after baby is born!
I would love to see myself in a bathing suit and not be tired all the time. Thats why I want to lose weight.
My excess weight has resulted in other health challenges, including HBP. I’d like to be able to come off the meds and be healthier. About 19 years ago, I followed the WW program and know it works. With my current situation, on-line would work better for me; I’d love the chance to try it for free!!!!

I need to lose 65 pounds. I believe that Weight Watchers can be a healthy and permanent way for me to do it. I checked for a local meeting and unfortunately the nearest location is a 30 minute drive each way. With a busy family of 5 and the price of gas, local meetings are not an option for me. I really want to use the Weight Watchers Online program; however, I am hesitant because of the initial cost involved. The monthly fee is not the problem it’s the extra registration fee. So I will give it a shot in hopes to win a subscription here, then I can keep it going by just paying the monthly fee. Thanks!
I was in the best shape of my life in 2005, back in a size 6 after 4 kids. Then I got pregnant again and diagnosed with breast cancer. After baby #5, chemo, radiation and continuing drug therapy I now weigh more than I did when I had all FIVE of my kids! I gotta do something to regain my energy, body & self image!
I just had my 6th child and have 20 pounds to lose. I feel better when I’m at mt goal weight. Been nearly 4 years since I’ve seen that!
I’m tired of feeling ugly and fat. Please help me lose it!
Alright, I have a few to lose and no motivation, so anything to get me going in the right direction would be wonderful!
I want to feel better, inside and out! To be “fit” instead of “fluffy!” Losing these extra pounds using weight watchers is the healthy thing to do!
I don’t want to be the “fat” mom anymore and I want my children to be proud of me.
Hey there! I want to lose about 15 or so pounds, so this would be awesome! Please put in an entry for me.
Blessings to you!
