If you and I are to be women who live a life with passionate purpose, we need to stop making excuses and start becoming “Get it Done Girls”!

I know, I know, it is so easy to “say” and yet sometimes so hard to do, right? Yes, if we want to sit back and let life pass us by; but come on, you and I want to be different. We want to be set apart. We want people to see us and say, “WOW! She’s different, I wonder why?” don’t we?

Well, one way to be a “Get it Done Girl” is this

STOP TALKING. START DOING

Is that simple enough? Seriously! As Christians we are called to be “salt” and “light” in the world, but if we are doing and acting the same way as everyone else, how will anyone know we are different?

1 John 3:18 has always been a favorite of mine, because, as you may have guessed, I am a “Get it Done Girl” through and through. Am I perfect? Nope! Do I strive to be the best I can be for God? You betcha! Do I want to live my life with a passionate purpose? You better believe it!

We are what we repeatedly do.

Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.

Next time you catch yourself telling someone, “Oh yeah, I’ll do this or I’ll do that” I want you to STOP for a minute and remember we show our love to others not by our words, but how we back them up–and that, my friends is ACTION!!!

Come on, let’s ALL be “Get it Done Girls” together!
