The demands on wives and mother’s are great. The calling is high, the pressure is high, and the to-do lists are long. There are days we just feel like we aren’t cut out for the task. We wonder why God would even choose us for such a task.
But the truth is, God calls us, not because we can handle it, but because HE can handle it. He has called us and equipped us.

God has given us an abundance!

• We can connect with other moms for prayer and encouragement
• We can read the books of great men and women who are experienced and can offer us some of the best advice and direction

Best of all, though,

• We can easily tap into the Holy Spirit for understanding of God’s Word and remembrance to live it out.

“And God is able to make all grace abound to you, that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed;”

“All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness;  that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.”

2 Timothy 3:16-17 (NASB)

God has already equipped us with everything we need to carry out His calling for our lives. We just need to receive it! It starts with having faith in God’s Word and devouring it every single day.

Be encouraged because God has called you specifically to be the mother to your children. He chose you to be the wife to your husband because God knew that you could meet his needs in ways no one else could–even when things are less than ideal. He has equipped you specifically for your family. Just receive the tools He’s offered you for the calling!
