Where do you worship? How do you worship? Is your worship confined to the time you spend singing in church?

I’ve been thinking more and more about re-inventing the Spiritual disciplines as it relates to worship.

I think worship can happen anywhere

and in the least expected places.

Can worship happen at a birthday party? I think so.

At my daughter Maddie’s 10th birthday party this weekend, I was overwhelmed with gratitude to God for my family. Both sets of Grandparents were there. My brothers, their wives and kids were there.

God was there. I felt Him move in me when He opened my eyes to the beauty around me.

I think we can gain a sense of worship the more we get to know God and His ways.

Think about it this way:

When are you the happiest?

When does your spirit feel the most free?

When does your heart soar in gratitude to God?

That is worship.

God made me fast. And when I run, I feel His pleasure.
