January 18 is Winnie the Pooh Day!

I watched Winnie the Pooh when I was little – did you? And even though he was a bear of “very little brains” he came up with some great quotes -with the help of A.A. Milne of course.
How many of us have started new things online and had this happen?
1. “I don’t see much sense in that,” said Rabbit. “No,” said Pooh humbly, “there isn’t. But there was going to be when I began it. It’s just that something happened to it along the way.” – Winnie the Pooh
there was going to be…an awesome site…but something happened…
2. Just because an animal is large, it doesn’t mean he doesn’t want kindness; however big Tigger seems to be, remember that he wants as much kindness as Roo. – Roo, Pooh’s Little Instruction Book, inspired by A. A. Milne
What if we changed it to “Just because a blogger is large…” Why does it seem like it’s easier to attack “bigger” bloggers?
3. It is more fun to talk with someone who doesn’t use long, difficult words but rather short, easy words like “What about lunch?”– Pooh’s Little Instruction Book, inspired by A. A. Milne
It is more fun to talk with those online that are like you. You don’t have to be a different person. Just use short easy words like “Let’s be friends.”
4. Poetry and Hums aren’t things which you get, they’re things which get you. And all you can do is go where they can find you.– Pooh’s Little Instruction Book, inspired by A. A. Milne
5. You can’t stay in your corner of the Forest waiting for others to come to you. You have to go to them sometimes. — Pooh’s Little Instruction Book, inspired by A. A. Milne
Two quotes that apply great to marketing – don’t you think?
6. If ever there is tomorrow when we’re not together.. there is something you must always remember. You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. But the most important thing is, even if we’re apart.. I’ll always be with you. – Winnie the Pooh
You are braver, stronger, and smarter than you think. Don’t let the blogosphere make you feel inferior or discouraged.
7. A little consideration, a little thought for others, makes all the difference. – Pooh’s Little Instruction Book, inspired by A. A. Milne
Always remember that!
Now in case you’ve been sitting too long Pooh also says, A bear, however hard he tries, grows tubby without exercise. So let’s get up and do our stoutness exercises!
