My son had a friend over today and we decided to make Turkeys out of coffee filters. This project has been around for a while, but it’s always a fun one!
- coffee filters
- paper towels
- water-based markers (such as Crayola)
- a squirt bottle with water
- glue stick
- scrap paper in brown, red and yellow

Color the coffee filters in any way you like. Use lots of colors or just a few. I like to use at least two filters layered together. The color soaks through and you have two turkeys with just coloring one.

When you are done, cut a turkey shape (rectangle w/ a circle on top) and add parts as shown. That easy!

How cute! We made autumn leaves out of coffee filters using just autumn colors and hung them in the windows. Coffee filters are always fun. π
Those are darling! I can’t wait to makes these with my son.
That’s a fun idea. I’ve never seen those before. I’m not sure that my kids would totally get it yet, but we might try anyway.
