Blissfully Domestic has relaunched, and here we are - The New & Improved Photography Channel!
The Photography Channel is bursting forth and growing along with BD. There are so many amazing things happening just under the surface that I don’t know how we’re containing it all! You won’t believe what a wonderful resource this column is going to become. If you love photography, bookmark us, subscribe, be back often.
My name is Lotus, and I’m the Editor of the Photography Channel. I’m incredibly excited to be here, writing for all of you, and working with an incredible group of ladies.
Let’s talk about what’s in store!
- This will be your number one resource for Photography Tutorials, Hints, Tips, and Guides. We are going to show you how to take your photography to the next level whether you’re a point and shoot novice or an SLR Pro.
- Need to learn how to make your photos better after they’ve been taken? You’ll find plenty of editing tricks and tips, as well as information about what software and programs to use.
- We’ll feature daily looks at the most fabulous and freaky photographs from around the web. If you love viewing amazing photos, this will be your spot.
- Regularly, you’ll see us Spotlight amazing photographers, complete with interviews and photographs. Get the inside scoop on people you admire and aspire to emulate.
- From time to time, we’ll invite talented photographers that are not regular contributors to guest post, so you can always get a more broad experience from all angles and viewpoints in the industry and art field.
- Every week, we’ll issue you a challenge or detail a photography project that you can become involved in. This will help you grow as a photographer and get you interacting with us and other great photographers all around the globe! Talk about being connected! Some challenges may result in your photography being featured on Blissfully Domestic. Free exposure! You can’t buy that kind of magic!
- We’ll run contests and giveaways for you so that you can win awesome prizes. We’re here working for you!

Through it all, we’lll be ready and waiting for you to interact with us. Ask us burning questions you have, or teach us things from your experience that we can benefit from.
Photography is an art, always evolving. The photographer is never at a “finished stage,” but is always capable of learning more. Learn and teach along side us!
