The other day I was talking to some French friends about the famous Italian dessert Tiramisu when I realised that none of them knew that Tiramisu means "cheer me up" in Italian. I think it's probably the most genius dessert name anyone as ever come up with and pretty much summarise the meaning of all desserts in general.  Although I have never been that much of a fan of Tiramisu when I was younger I am starting to experiment more with recipes and  I have learnt to enjoy this classic. If you've ever wanted to impress the special people in your life with chocolate dipped strawberries but have been terrified to attempt it, fear no more. I'm going to break it down into easy steps that you're sure to nail every time. Be prepared for you and your loved ones to inhale these delicious homemade chocolate covered strawberries faster than you can make them! Step 1: Wash the strawberries you want to dip in the chocolate. Step 2: Pat the strawberries dry with a paper towel. Step 3: Lay the strawberries out to come to room temperature and dry completely.
