Sharing A Sweet Future – An update on Truvia’s campaign

Community service is often a topic of conversation in our house.  We have teenagers who have certain numbers of service hours to meet each year - maybe you've experienced this too.  Teaching children to understand that giving back in whatever way they can is important. Tutoring, volunteering at a food drive, helping build a fence - there is no limit of ways to help in your community.  It's the little changes and the little things we can do which will impact a bigger group of people for the better. Now think of community service on a global level.  Helping people outside your community - outside your country.  For most of us, the chance to get involved on that scale isn't likely to happen. A New Album From Gwen Stefani – REVIEW

A New Album From Gwen Stefani - Review by Tulasi Sundaresh Gwen Stefani’s new album, “This Is What the Truth Feels Like”, is a collection of amazing, dance-worthy songs that tell a story and allow the audience to have fun. Her pop sound and her smooth, recognizable alto voice rings through in these unique tracks, each one more catchy than the one before. As an experienced music mogul, Stefani knows just how to create timeless hits that will not only pull at the heartstrings of her audience but have them singing and dancing along the entire time. Her experience and raw talent bring a sense of professionalism and musicality that isn’t present in a lot of other pop music. Personally, I have been listening to Gwen Stefani’s catchy ballads and dance tracks since junior high. I have … [Read more...]

New Music from Harry Connick Jr – That Would Be Me

A review by Tulasi S. To facilitate this review I was provided music, but all opinions are my own. Harry Connick Jr.’s newest album, “That Would Be Me” is an upbeat, unique collection; each song bringing a smile to your face. Having a strong and comprehensive musical background, Connick Jr. masterfully paired ingenious lyrics with catchy and melodious tunes. His smooth crooning gives life to the album as his rich baritone voice tells the story of each song. Don’t be surprised if you catch yourself singing these infectious tracks. One of my favorite tracks off of the album is “Songwriter”. It is one of those songs that you can’t sit still while listening to. With a funky beat reminiscent of the 70’s, “Songwriter” is easily one of my current favorite songs. The antique feel of … [Read more...]

New Music from Andrea Bocelli “Cinema”

(Sponsored) New Music Review, "Cinema".  A fresh perspective to timeless music. Andreas Bocelli’s new album, “Cinema”, is a masterful compilation of some of the greatest hits from classical films and musicals. The album includes Bocelli’s stunning renditions from works like “Breakfast at Tiffany’s”, “Evita”, “Dr. Zhivago”, “West Side Story”, and many more. Many of these iconic tracks are truly made unique by Bocelli’s smooth, sweet-sounding voice. I found that one does not need to be a lover of classical music to enjoy this album, as anyone can appreciate the sheer musical quality and raw beauty behind Bocelli’s passion and skill when performing these epic pieces. Demonstrating his identity as an international artist, Bocelli records songs in English, Spanish, Italian, French, … [Read more...]
