9 Fun and Easy St Patrick’s Day Crafts for Kids

Having five kids forces me to get creative with keeping them busy each day. One of my most favorite ways to do that is to have them help me with decorating the house for each holiday. We decorate for Valentine’s Day, Easter, Christmas and even St. Patrick’s Day! Why would you NOT add a few rainbows around your home to help brighten your day? {Trust me, they’ll make you smile!}

Today I have 9 St. Patrick’s Day crafts that you can do with your kids that will have your home leprechaun ready in no time! And, there’s even a couple crafts for gift-giving and wearing.

/1/ Rainbow Pots O’ Gold – A simple terra cotta pot, a rainbow of paint colors and a bag of candy will make the perfect gift or table place setting!

/2/ Lucky Clover Patch – Make this craft now and add a clover each day until the holiday telling what you’re thankful for. You and the kids can get in on this action! We ALL have luck inside of us.

/3/ Clover Leaf Lei – Combine celebrating the holiday with fine motor skills learning. This craft is perfect for preschoolers! {and the big kids}

/4/ Leprechaun Hats – These are so fun! They would be the perfect prop for a St. Patrick’s Day photo booth!

/5/ Edible Matching Game – Play, learn, eat, repeat.

/6/ A Happy Cloud and Rainbow – I dare you to make one of these with your child and not smile each day you see it hanging in your home. It’s just so cheery! {And it can stay hanging all year! Rainbows aren’t just for St. Patrick’s Day.}

/7/ Hand Print Leprechauns – Capture a Little Leprechaun for all of time in your child’s hand print. This is hands down my favorite type of craft!

/8/ Four Leaf Clover Stamps – If you’re like me, you’ve saved a few toilet paper or paper towel rolls for a rainy day craft. Well, here’s one that is so CLOVER, I mean, clever.

/9/ Rainbow and Sprinkle Cake – Doesn’t this cake look festive!? The Cake Whiz had me at rainbow sprinkles!
