Favorite Maternity Fashion Accessories

I’ll admit that I love being pregnant and I love watching my belly expand with each new day. What I don’t love, however, are the fashion challenges that result from this expansion!

Although I am only 9 weeks pregnant, because my body has done this quite a few times before, I’m already experiencing some of these challenges, and I wanted to share my top 3 favorite must-have accessories with you:

isABelt – the original fashion “fix-it” belt
I am not exaggerating when I tell you that I have no idea how I made it through three pregnancies without one of these! I had my first opportunity to try an isABelt on for size at last weekend’s BlissDom conference. Although I’d bought dark wash jeans just for the occassion, I outgrew them before the conference and instead had to wear my “fat jeans”, which unfortunately have a bad habit of slipping off my bum, causing me to hike them every time I stand or move. I figured that wouldn’t be good for my “bloggy image,” and thankfully my isABelt saved the day! I didn’t have to adjust my jeans once, and even though I’ve now moved on to the “pants unbuttoned” stage of pregnancy, my isABelt still keeps my pants smooth and in place.

Baby Be Mine Maternity Bands
Another fashion “fix it” accessory, these maternity belly bands mean that I haven’t yet had to pull out my maternity shirts, even though my regular shirts are slowly becoming shorter by the day. Instead, I simply wear a belly band under my shirt as a second longer layer and I look fashionable instead of frumpy!

Shelf Bra Camis
I don’t know about you all, but as my belly – and certain other body parts (ahem!) – grow, I find that I’m much more comfortable around the house in a shelf-bra cami than I am in a regular bra. Although they’re not the least expensive on the market, I love these camis from Charlotte Russe because they’re extra long and stretchy, and they accomodate my growing belly!

The best part about each of these accessories is that they can be used during the post-pregnancy months as well!

Do you have a favorite maternity accessory that I haven’t listed here?
